About Us From the manufacturer Our story begins in 1959 when Sam Rosenberg, determined to have a successful business before retirement, founded the S. Rosenberg Christmas Co. after experiencing several failed start-ups earlier in life. Although initially unsuccessful, he found success as a traveling salesman of general merchandise in the 1950s.

In 1963, Stanley Geller purchased the business from his father-in-law, renaming it Funworld, Easter Unlimited. Traveling to Japan on propeller planes, he established strong relationships with factories and began selling goods throughout the USA in a station wagon filled with samples. From Minneapolis to Miami, Boston to Bentonville, New York to New Orleans, Funworld made its mark.

As the business expanded, Fun World transitioned from working with Japanese factories to those in Korea, Taiwan, and Hong Kong, eventually moving operations to China after President Nixon's 1973 opening. With the support of many individuals, the company flourished and grew to become a major supplier.
